I'm feeling so much better than I was 1 wk ago. For all the new hystersisters, it does get better. I've been increasing my walking every day to build up my endurance for work which will be in one wk. I'm up to 2 miles (35 mins.) slow but I did it! The tightness in the belly has diminished to almost none. I can lay on my side for awhile (at least I can fall asleep quicker). The swellly belly has gone down to my normal size. I lost a few pounds (6). And most of all, mentally, I feel so much better. So girls hang in there. All that discomfort will diminish in time. Every day it will get better! God Bless.

I am 5 weeks today also, and feeling much better. No pain at all, not even taking Motrin anymore. I do take Advil at night sometimes, but for general aches an occasional headache. I do, however, feel exhausted by 6 pm! I am trying to be more mobile to regain my endurance, as I return to work on Wednesday. I am fortunate to have a boss, and a position, where if it is too much, I can leave! I also work 5 minutes from home, so I can go there for lunch and put my feet up for a while! I do get frustrated though when preparing a simple dinner still wipes me out from time to time. My swelly belly is not completely gone, but most of my own clothes fit now

Today is my 5 week anniversary also! I am feeling so much better. I started driving my car two days ago. I made 3 stops, then I went home and took a nap. I can lay on my side to sleep. I am very happy my doctor gave me a few more weeks to get back to my super woman status.
