Chicken Pox!

Hi, I joined today, my op was 2 weeks ago. Am recovering well, doing everything by the book. My Grandson has got chickenpox he was with me during the infectious period. I am slightly concerned as I haven't had CP and don't know if my immune system is weak, has anyone else been through this?
Wish I had known of this site earlier, it looks great.

Oh wow. Best to check with your doctor. I was exposed to someone who had it when I was in my early 20's. Sure enough, I came down with it. Not a fun time.

Really appreciate a response. I am waiting now to see if anything "pops out" and then I will contact the doctor. It is now 6 days since his visit so fingers crossed. My daughter spoke to her doctor as she is also at risk and he said we just have to wait and see! I see you had you TAH a few years ago now, hope all is well for you. Isn't it a wonderful world when we can communicate across the water so easily. I live down on the south coast of England.
