Bowel prep not working-Surgery in AM

Hello there,
Don't know if there is anyone out there to give me advice on such short notice but I thought I'd try. My surgery is Monday morning and I was instructed to do the Miralax+Gatorade Bowel prep. I began it at 6pm and nothing has happened but a full bloated belly. I did a Fleet's suppository to see if that might get things moving but had only a small BM. Should I do an enema or just wait and not worry about it? I'm having a DaVinci total hysterectomy.

Drink a lot of water. I'm sure everything will go great good luck tomorrow.

I've got the feeling that all of a sudden you will get 'thunder down under' so don't worry too much about it, you have done your part and followed instructions. Good luck.

Go to bed - that's a sure way to make sure you'll need to get up in a hurry.

It will work...i had the same prep but for a colonoscopy....took a few hours but it worked. Hope your surgery went well.

I have just finished my bowel prep and what disgusting stuff it is. The effects of it is no problem it is just the taste of the gross, like drinking salty water. I did find sucking on a Chupa Chup after a sip really helped.
