You can click on the Calendar icon at the top of the page and then on the day you are having surgery and it will give you a list of everyone having surgery on that day!

My TAH is also scheduled for next Tuesday, November 18th. I've done lots of cleaning around the house, keeping up with the laundry, stocked lots of easy freezer food and actually being pretty nervous. Today I'm cleaning and organizing my nightstand with books, tissues, embroidery work, remote controls etc. I haven't bought hardly anything...I even made a sleep mask for myself and it came out really cute. I am going to go to WalMart and stock up on Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Neosporin, and Gas-x before I go in. I'm taking very little to the hosp. DH can bring me something if I think I want it. I did borrow some books on tape and got a cute little Sony Walkman cassette player. I'm hoping to use it to block out hospital noises and enjoy a story without having to focus on TV or a book. I'm preparing my 11 year old about all the things I will need her to help me with (laundry, firewood, dishwasher, picking up around the house)and I know that DH will pitch in more. I told them there won't be anything wrong with my pointing finger! (Please tell me 11 year olds are trainable!) I go in for pre-op on Monday, so that will be a busy day as well. Don't have my Tue. report time yet. I'll be thinking of you on my same day. Be sure to check in and let us know how you're doing after you get home!

Nov. 18 also

I also have the same castle date. I go for pre-op on Mon am. Then followed by MD appt. This is after working the night shift Sunday night. then I get to begin the dreaded prep. Iguess there will be no rest for me. I am a nurse at the castle where I will be having my surg. and I requested to be put on the floor on which i work, so I willl be taken care of by the people I know and trust.

Yep, that's my day, too! November 18! I am ready to get going on this thing. I have prepared and over-prepared...I go to pre-op appt with dr. on Monday and the pre-admission at the hospital right after that. Then surgery at noon the next day.
I've read all the lists, and adjusted them for things I like/don't like, made a video list for afterwards, shopped for applesauce and jello and juice (oh, and bottled water!), got the stool softeners, Phazyme, pillows, puzzlebooks, cross-stitch, a new phone with Caller ID on the handset....I've got my 6 year old daughter squared away with my sister for a couple of nights (lucky me---sister teaches at the same school!) If I have forgotten something, I guess someone will have to do it for me!
Good luck to you!
