I am SO ready!

Gosh...a month ago I was still questioning if a TAH weren't just a little too drastic for me. Not anymore! For the past 3 weeks since my last period stopped, it really hasn't. I've spotted on and off since then, hurt, cramped, had backaches, etc. Today was pre-op at 8:30 a.m. Silly me didn't eat breakfast or have my normal coffee and wound up having to go home from work my head hurt so bad, and go to bed. :bed And now...you guessed it, my period really started. My poor husband is so sweet; I know he's ready for this to be over too. Right now I feel like a Mack truck has hit me. I think Friday morning will be a total relief. Good luck to all you other ladies-in-waiting about to go and become the we all deserve to be!

I am SO ready!

I'm with ya! I was totally questioning my decision for a TVH on Aug 7th but this week leading up to my period just totally reinforces my decision. I cannot wait for it to be over!

Good luck! I'll *see* you when I get out of the castle!!!!

I am SO ready!

Lisa- I know what you mean. I can't wait for the 24th to roll around and for it to be over also. They should have rewards for the husbands that have helped us through all this and understand. It will be over soon for us both,Good luck on Friday.

I am SO ready!

I'm sure I'll get more anxious as Friday gets closer, but right now I'm good. My period is actually behaving right now (I probably just jinxed that!), so maybe the next two days won't be too bad!

I am SO ready!

I had the same feelings. Two weeks prior to surgery time was dragging, but now I'm 1 week post op and don't know where the time flew. I only got nervous right before I left work the day before my surgery. You know how people are...putting doubt into your head! I don't regret it a bit.

I am SO ready!

I am totally with you my date can't come soon enough I am so full of anxiety but didn't realize it until today, I just cried all day at work, my emotions are all over the place and I'm a basket case, just want to be done with it. I feel also there is so much to prepare for ahead of time, and who wants to spend money on swelly belly wardrobe, I just put $400 into my car today... Ugh... but it will all be worth it in the end, I want my health back, and feeling a 100% I use to be a gym-aholic and haven't been in the past year put on 30lbs.. YIKEs... So Castle Here I come!

I am SO ready!

I agree, I too was wondering if I was making the right decision, and yesterday, the day of pre-op, I started my period again, so all the way to the doctor's office I was saying to myself....Yippeeeee, this will be the last one ever, no more pain, no more flooding, no more carrying a box of super plus tampons or pads with me everywhere I go, no more canceled outings, no more missing functions, no more lost romantic evenings with my DB, and look out white pants.... HERE I COME!!!!
