Belly button giving me fits!

Hello all.I had full hyster on the 9th. of Sept. I am 5 1/2 weeks post op and am still having belly button pain. Some days are great and then it will feel like it did several weeks ago with the pulling and tenderness. Looks like where the stitch was there is a tiny hole and it will ooze and bleed. The blood gets dried up and I use alcohol to clean it. I am assuming that this is pain from the stitches dissolving. Just so tired of this. When does the belly button pain stop. I go back for my 6 week check up this Tuesday. Other than the belly button and stomach still achy I feel ok.

My bellybutton incision gave me fits too. it was the last to heal, and it seemed like anytime anything hurt, my bellybutton hurt too. It took between 6-8 weeks for it to really heal. Even now, 10 months later, If I feel inside my bellybutton there is a lot of scar tissue that will tend to get a little sore if I wear something like tights or pantyhose that covers it. It does get better though.

My doc told me at my 4 week postop that I will feel a stitch in there.. I asked about it because Ive always cleaned my bellybutton out with a q-tip dipped in alcohol after showering and I was seeing some oozing. She mentioned it takes a while longer to heal. My laparoscopic incisions are healed up nicely but this seems to be taking longer.
Mine has been itching, no pain but the itch!

Yep my doc told me that he used heavy stitches there and in my vaginal cuff. Said the stitches would take about 2-3 months to dissolve. I didn't like that answer.

Mine too!!! Sucker itches like crazy! I had LSH so I have 3 incisions besides my belly button.

Mine too. The dr told me to expect my belly button to be the longest incision to heal. Although the it looks good, it is still quite sore.
