Question about vaginal bleeding after TAH

Hello -

I am heading into the castle for a TAH on 1-12-06 and I am wondering how much vaginal bleeding I should expect to have after a TAH?

Need to stock up on supplies and I want to make sure I get everything I will be this weekend.

I just had a little spotting while in the Castle, which I noticed the first two times I used the bathroom. I didn't even need a pad.

I had a SAH--kept my cervix--and brought a full pack of pads, the heavy duty kind, with me to the castle. Out of a package of 20, I still have 15 of them. I had some brownish sludgy stuff come out a couple of times when I went to the bathroom, and that was IT. I never even soiled any of the 5 pads I used!
I'd bring panty liners, and if you need more, use what the hospital has. It's only for a day or 2 anyway.

I had a TAH on Dec. 29th and have not bled at all..I stocked up on pads, thick and thin and didn't need any of them, thankfully!!

I had a little spotting whilst at the Castle and nothing when I went home .

I didn't have any bleeding after My TAH in August. I kept expecting it to happen but it didn't. I guess every woman has their own experiences. I have heard of bleeding after one. I guess I got lucky.
