waiting IS the worst!

I had a TVH yesterday, came home 5 hours post op. Have no pain, (I did have some gas pain last night) except for a bruised area on my back for the spinal. No vaginal pain or even pressure at all!
Now I'm off to shower and prop myself up on the couch!

Glad you had a good experience. Make sure you drink plenty of water - get up and walk every once in a while, and rest rest rest.

Waiting was the worst part!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you're doing well. To continue on that path, make sure you remember your rigorous royal training. Even though you don't have any external incision to remind you of it, you did have a major procedure done and there are many internal stitches which need to heal without stress!

Continue to take gentle care of yourself.

That's great you got to come home the same day! I'm having a TVH next Tuesday but I will have at least a 2 day hospital stay according to my DR. I'd much rather be at home than in the hospital. You get no rest there!!! Good luck and I hope you have an uneventful recovery!
