8 weeks out and spotting out of no where?

I am 8 1/2 weeks post-op and haven't had any colored discharge in a week of two.

I went back to work 2 1/2 weeks ago (at 6 weeks post-op) and have struggled with fatigue but have a pretty stationary job so haven't been overly active.

Last week I started going back to the gym. I have only gone 3 times in the last week and have only done 25minutes on the treadmill each time. Nothing major, just a 2.5 to 3.0 pace on a low 1.5 incline. Just enough to get my heart rate going.

Last night my abdomen muscles felt sore and they feel like they are "contracting" when I am sitting hunched over (ex: sitting at a big desk reaching for the mouse or keyboard, sitting on the couch and leaning over a coffee table, etc.)

I skipped the gym this morning because I thought the sore feeling might mean I am doing too much (even though the dr. office said treadmill was fine).

Tonight I get home and use the bathroom and find a small swipe of pink on the tissue. I didn't insert anything but did a little "exploring" to find out where it was coming from. There was more pinkish-red blood (light spotting only, NOT anything major!) Nothing that requires me to wear a pad.

I go to the Dr. on July 12th for my post-op and have not lifted anything over 20lbs and have not been cleared for intercourse so I am still following pretty strict rules.

Could this be from 2 days in a row at the gym? Or should I be concerned? Dr. office is closed for the day so I thought I would ask my sisters for advice.

Again, I haven't had any discharge for a week or two and even then it was brownish like "old blood". This is definitely "new"ish.

Help??!!

Re: 8 weeks out and spotting out of no where?

The same thing happened to me. I had pinkish discharge, went to doctor and there was a small ulcer that had formed at my cervical cuff. They used silver nitrate to stop the bleed. It burned....they said it is very common and wrote me a prescription of estrace for vaginal dryness.
Also, they said I may need it again if I develop another ulcer or if just one application did not heal the original ulcer.
Good luck.

Is it possible that you have a few stitches that were slow to dissolve and are just now coming out?
