how does the vagina keep clean? I mean is it a bacteria trap now without the natural lubrication? What about after sex?

Your vagina has always lubricated itself. Hormonal changes can alter that, but there is an assortment of things you can do to manage that naturally, or manually.

Also, there has always been a balance of good bacteria and yeast in there. That, too, can be altered by hormonal changes. It is my understanding that hormonal changes are more likely apt to promote yeast growth, rather than bacteria.

After intercourse, the fluids will continue to find their way out, like they always did........maybe even a little bit quicker!

I can only truly speak for my own: Everything is still the same in there. I am now coming upon 2 years postop in April.
