What's your favorite thing to do?

I always suffered from bad PMS and was an absolute monster for days beforehand ( my DH won't miss that! ).I used to throw up and have severe cramps for the first 2 days, so always had to spend those days in bed, hugging a hotwater bottle...won't miss that!

What's your favorite thing to do?

Buying all the pretty panties that I would have never dared to buy before.
Going without wearing any panties at all.
Never having to use those stupid pads with wings, they always flipped up if I moved around alot and got stuck to my you know what (ouch).
Being able to sit on the floor and play with my DD and knowing I wont be leaving a stain.
Knowing that I am never going to be so chaffed (sp) again from wearing a pad for 4 months straight.
Not having to buy newborn diapers because certain days there wasn't a pad big enough to hold the massive amount of blood I was losing.
FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's your favorite thing to do?

NEVER HAVING TO BUY A NEW OFFICE CHAIR BECAUSE THE OTHER ONE WAS STAINED

NEVER HAVING TO PUT A TOWEL UNDER ME AT THE OFFICE BEFORE I SAT

NEVER BEING AFRAID TO SNEEZE BECAUSE IT GUSHED EVEN MORE
(urine is still a slight issue though)(once in awhile)

NEVER HAVING TO BUY AND WEAR DEPENDS BECAUSE THE BIG TOWEL DIDN'T ABSORB AT NIGHT

WEARING WHITE PANTS WHENEVER I WANT TO

NOT RESCHEDULING VACATIONS

BEING ABLE TO GO TO MY DS GAMES AND NOT HAVING TO SIT IN THE CAR TO WATCH

NOT RUNNING TO THE BATHROOM THE MINUTE I STOOD UP

NOT BEING AFRAID TO SIT ON SOMEONES COUCH

"SECRETLY" SMILING AS I WALK PAST "THE ISLE"

I CAN FINALLY ENJOY LIFE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON. ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE I COULD HONESTLY SAY THAT. YES THE HYSTERECTOMY WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID.

What's your favorite thing to do?

Not having to know where the nearest toilet is

Not laying awake worrying that I'll make a mess of the bed when staying over at friends houses

Not having to stress that holidays or days out will be ruined by carrying a back pack of sanitary items.

Not worrying that i am anaemic

Not worrying that a fibroid will grow big and cause peritonitis

Being able to go swimming whenever I want to

Being able to enjoy a long hot bubble bath without the water turning a funny colour!

Great Thread!

No more cramps
Never hearing that "splash" in the morning from clots and blood gushing in the toilet
Never having to plan vacations or fun times around Aunt Flow
My husband can touch me "down there" whenever he and or I want too!!!
Going swimming whenever I want
Getting rid of all my stained underwear that I've always saved for those days.......I can throw them all away now!!!!!!!
Not feeling sick once, twice even three times a month!
Not worrying about my iron levels anymore!
Being able to donate blood when I want to because I'll have enough iron!!
No more pads, tampons, sticky underwear, panty girdles, hot water bottles, heating pads, nausea, running nock-kneed to the bathroom, bloody bathroom floors in the morning, hoping the clots go down the drain when I shower and........

What's your favorite thing to do?

I love:

Being able to ride my bicycle without worry.

Being able to train dogs without telling my clients (dogs) to "Sit and stay because I have to go to the bathroom to change my tampons". LOL I don't think the dogs ever did understand what I was saying LOL Even the females who were snorfleed!!! LOL

Being able to go for long car rides without staining the seats.

Being able to sleep all night without having to worry about getting up every hour on the hour to change my tampon.

Being able to go swimming this summer in my pool.

Being able to plan events that don't circle around my period.

Being able to finally go out dancing all night long without worry.

Being able to FINALLY ENJOY LIFE AT 42 years old AGAIN!!!

What's your favorite thing to do?

Nice question! During my absolutley last period of my life (yeah)! I made a list of all the things I was NOT going to miss! This managed to get me through the cramps - I read and reread the list and hypnotized myself with daydreaming about what life would be like without those SIXTY things!

And now that time is here! I cannot recount it all here but I am sure everything on my list has been covered here already! But, big things for me:

I LOVE BUYING NEW UNDERWEAR THAT IS NOT BLACK!!!!!!!!!!

I know I am not supposed to shout but I couldn't help it - it was for joy!

I do really get a kick out of seeing those nasty bins in the ladies room and snickering at them becuase I know I never have to touch one again for as long as I live! I sneer at them like they are rats and then laugh because its so funny that I ever spent time thinking about such a thing!

So, I guess my real favorite thing is all the free time I have to devote to thinking and reading and my life rather than planning, packing, cancelling, worrying, and all the crazy stuff that ruled my life before.

I LIKE HAVING A LIFE!

What's your favorite thing to do?

I think all of the above apply to me, but the greatest thing about NOT having my period is the ability to go vacation whenever I want to go. My kids are grown, I'm financially in decent shape and now I can just pick up and go away. It took me a lot of years of pain and aggravation to get to this point and I'm going to enjoy it to the max. JAMAICA here I come!!!
