cauterisation and silver nitrate at 16 weeks post hysterectomy! Anyone else?

I never realised the silver nitrate treatment was used so often - so far into the recovery.

It's funny how some people expect you to be healed weeks ago! I think they'd be surprised that we still have healing going on 4 months out. It does highlight the fact that this can be a long recovery period.
