Pain after sex

So tomorrow will be 7 weeks post op for me. I was give the green light last week but I waited till Sat night. It was good at 1st then at the end it was uncomfortable. I did not get any spotting but I have been really crampy sense then. I did notice that during my self testing I was crampy after the big O but it went away by the next day, this however does not seem to be passing. I have been trying to get a hold of my Dr. for a week now but no one is returning my calls.

I am just wondering if this is normal and just need to get back into the groove of things.

Re: Pain after sex

Hi there,

I was cleared for sex after 4 weeks and when we tried it, I had the same crampy feeling too for about 2 or 3 days. I took some Advil to help relieve the aches. I think we just over did it and my body wasn't feeling 100% yet.

Now that I'm 8.5 weeks post op, I'm feeling great. No after-sex symptoms and the "O" is great. If you can get a hold of your doctor, try asking to speak to a nurse. They can be equally as helpful.

Good luck!
