Lesson Learn

I forget who posted about not stop taking medications, but I learned a lesson. I misunderstood my doctor when he said to take my Motrin every four to six hours AS NEEDED for pain and if I still need relief while waiting the next four to six hours, to take the Vicodin. I thought he meant to take it when I have pain. Okay I am little slow. I saw my doctor today and I think I upset him a little because I wasn't faithful in taking them (I know he cares).
WHAT a difference! Since I took them as I should, I have experienced little to no pain. I sure do appreciate all he has done for me. I think it wont be so bad to recover. I know some of you are waiting to get back to normal, but as for me, it is a little different. Although I can't wait to get back to writing stories, I am not looking forward to taking up the responsibilities I once had before the surgery (I am the one who does MOST of the grocery shopping and I am burnt out).

Agreed! I am not looking forward to house work at all. I did that too. I only took medicine when I started hurting but hardly did because I haven't really hurt that much since recovery. I am four weeks post op and ready to be cleared on something's but others not so much. I am getting used to my husband cooking and cleaning lol. He is not that good but he does try lol.
