Re: bleeding question

I am at 4 weeks today and I'm still spotting/bleeding as well. I started bleeding in week 2/3. It's a bit disconcerting and frustrating as it's hard to know whether its normal or something you're doing.
I read somewhere that if you are soaking a pad in an hour, that's not a good sign, but if you are just spotting, you're not alone. Stitches can take up to 8 weeks to dissolve, so think it's par for the course to some degree. I am not a doc and everyone's different though so make sure to keep in touch with your doc, but there seem to be a number of people with bleeding.
FYI, had post op yesterday and my doc checked everything out - internal and external. She said there was still inflamation in stitch area but that was normal for 4 weeks and everything was as it should be. I am meant to get back to her if it's still there at 6 weeks.
