dVH/RALH Counting My Steps

I've been using a pedometer to count my steps every day. I must say it's helping me out a lot. Some days I walk more than others and know when I need to take it easy the next day. The furthest I walked in one day thus far, is 1.7 miles. Nothing compared to pre-op, but pretty good for where I currently am 2 weeks post op. Anyone else using one or plan to?

I had TAH so not as far along as you. I do walk daily and agree that anything to keep motivated is great! How far were you going pre surgery? Blessing to you!

Good job. I'm not using a pedometer, but I'm walking. I have points in my neighborhood that I'm using for distance judgment. I have a pedometer but forget about using it.

Pre surgery I would walk 5 miles. Not a huge amount, but my hubby and I just started walking because I wasn't able to ride my road bike after having my shoulder surgery 3 months ago. I can't wait to get back on my bike again (my love). I timed out these surgeries so I'd be back to riding sooner than later. My shoulder is still very sore and will be for another 7 mos, but I'll definitely be back on my bike as soon as I get my Gyno's approval!
