TAH cortisone injection at incision - alternative?

have had two treatments of cortisone shots in my incision area due to pain from scar tissue. The pain has radiated in my hips and buttocks. The injections help, but after 3 or 4 weeks after the injections, the pain returns. I cannot continue to do the shots anymore (they are just too painful). is there an alternative to these shots? I cannot take Aleve or Advil (on blood thinners). has anyone else experienced this
