Re: Davinci hysterectomy 4/8 - any positive stories?

Hi, there! I had my DaVinci-assisted hysterectomy on January 21. I had been diagnosed with endometrial cancer, which was confined to the uterus and removed during the surgery. I had 5 small incisions which healed very quickly. They were covered with small steri-strips which eventually just fell off on their own. I spent one night in the hospital. I had a bit of discomfort, but minimal pain. Because of the cancer I had three brachy rads in March. I am now back to work fulltime and life has returned to normal. I couldn't be happier with my surgery and recovery, and would do it the same way if I had it do over. I hope your experience is as good or better than mine!

That is good to hear. I am 11 days out. Today I felt a little more tired than usual but other than that everything is well
