Pain after sex

So my 6 week check up went well, and that was last Monday. On Saturday night, my hubby and I had sex. We got a little carried away and I had a pain, felt like a tear inside (but right near the outside of) my vagina. It wasn't excruciating or anything, just enough to stop. I have been sore to wipe after I use the restroom, and tonight I am having pretty significant cramping low in my abdomen/pelvis area. Just wondering if this warrants a phone call to the nurse line or if I should give it some more time. Anyone else have pain like this during/after sex? TIA!!!

After a hysterectomy, there is vaginal dryness. The penis needs LUBE. LOTS OF LUBE.
I tried not using anything like before the hysterectomy, and it hurt.
We got carried away, and I bled and it hurt like heck.
We found out it was due to an internal granulation problem (an area not healed) at the tip of the vaginal cuff.

The doctor found the area quite large, so I had to undergo another surgery (minor this time) so that he could "laser" the granulation.
No fun.

No more sex for another 6 weeks. I had another check up, then cleared for sex again.
We got carried away again, had MORE bleeding and severe pain after the sex and went back to see the good doctor.
He said one tiny part was still not healed.
I got an RX for premarin creme and a no sex order for 4-6 weeks. I am still waiting for the "green light" for sex again.
We have not had sex since 9/3, so hopefully we will get to have it this week.
You can bet that DH and I will NOT be getting "carried away" for awhile.

A "bummer," but I don't want sex restrictions again.
We have been more off than on as far as sex goes since the hysterectomy.

If I were you I would call the nurse and ask her if you can come in to get your va jay jay checked out.

I would call your dr. There could be an issue like stated above, or it could be more serious. If you tear the vaginal cuff stitches-it can be very serious. Please call.
