TAH Burning pain on left side 2 1/2 weeks post op

I have felt really good but have started experiencing a burning inside abdomin on left side. Is this normal? Afraid I did too much a few days ago. Thanks!

Can you describe what you're feeling in more detail? Does it feel like a "pulling" sensation? I'm 3 weeks out and was feeling pretty good when all of a sudden I got this major pulling pain in the area where the surgery was most complex. I laid low for a couple of days and now it feels better. Are you feeling any other symptoms-- fever or nausea?

I have no fever or nausea. Just this burning and I guess pulling sensation. I was more concerned about the incision initially which is healing great. I guess a lot of healing needs to be done inside so I think I need to take it easy. I feel fine when I lay flat. I hope you are doing ok.

I read here somewhere, and I must agree, it's 2 steps forward and 1 step back. But we'll get there in time :-)

I tripped over a cord a few days ago and I have a pain in my lower left ab. Going to doctor today to see what's up with that and why it still hurts to pee.

I had that on both side periodically - at seven weeks now and it's stopped. I just put it down to the healing process.

Seriously--what would we do without this forum?!! I would be going crazy with hypochondria right now if I didn't hear from so many others having the same symptoms. When I was a teenager I was what they call "Goth" now, back in the mid-eighties it was locally referred to as "death-punk". Anyway, we dressed in all black, had a gazillion piercings, put on white face make up and thick black eyeliner and listened exclusively to depressing music. Lol! Back then I never would have imagined feeling so good about feeling "normal". Hahaha!
