Words Of Hope For Tah Sisters

Hi im just coming up to 5mths post TAH and would just like to let every one know that im feeling great just finished 1st full working week(work with autistic children so demanding work)also managed good gym sessions and walks.still got bit of swelly belly but not as much ,back in a few pre op clothes as the weight is falling of now ,dont feel so tired as i did a couple of weeks ago,tum still numb but feeling coming back (feels like spiders walking around in there)so nerve ending firing up. just thought you might like to hear thats its not all bad and that things do get better,i believe its going well for me because i took my docs advice and rested for several weeks,didnt exercise until recently(apart from daily walks),and stayed away from any abb work only just starting that and under fitness instructor guide.i know its not going to be the same for every one but a few weeks ago i didnt feel this good ive just turned the corner and im on the road to recovery hope this gives hope to you all luv owls 44yrs young

Hi glad you are finding this thread useful I know how hard it can be to believe that things will improve?and while im still not 100% im well on the way and just wanted to give words of encourgement i just keep feeling a little better each day,and i know you all will to. happy healing to you all,just remember small steps will lead to big leaps LUV OWLS

Thanks for the encouraging post Owls. It nice to have positive posts that it does get better and better with everyday. I look forward to being able to workout and getting back to normal. My DH and I were in your wonderful country last year visiting my family over there and hope to be back soon.
