Urinary pain and a new pain meds

Today is a bad day. Urinary pain and a new pain meds. Sex is the last thing I'm thinking about. I guess the distraction is good, right? The frustration is setting in. The frustration of not being able to do what i was doing before. I wanted to be superwoman and be farther along I guess. Well its back to the doctor after the weekend. I never want surgery again...for anything. I have a new respect of cancer survivors. I can't imagine having to go through this repeatedly, for any reason.

Hang in there dear.. You are only a couple days behind me and I know exactly how you feel.. I was on the 28th TVH. And then today I found out that my stitches are infected which in turn means I have an infection... Which hurts in my belly so bad at times its unreal.. ANd the discharge is in my mind GROSS> I was so embarrassed to call the Dr. but I am so glad I did. started the antibotic and the new pain meds. ANd tonight I feel maybe just a bit better. I know this is an awful thing to go through.. This web-site and the wonderful friends I have made helped me so so much . its bearable to get through the day.. I too wanted to be superwoman... and I tried... I just finally got it through my head that my body is more important and after many sleepness nights and numerous other things that happened to me because I didnt rest, I learned the more I rest the faster I will recover. If we over do it.. It will take so much longer to get better.. Hang in there honey, I feel your pain, if you need to talk I (we) are just a few keystrokes away...
