Surgery on May 28

I am having my surgery on May 28th, three days away. I have adenomyosis and fibroids and hae been miserable for two years. the decision to do this was not that hard, although, I am extremely nervous. I am scheduled for a lapro but there is a chance I may have to have an incision. Dr wont know till we are in there. I hope all the recovery and bowel prep, ewwww, is worth it.

Re: Will have LAVH for Adenomyosis

dear nanajake02, we will be thinking of you in 3 days...and I will be envious that your surgery date is this close!

My back seized up and then I felt like I was in labor most of the day (my husband and I got to get out for a "date") then I get home and my feet and ankles are huge. What the fetch? This is the strangest condition...I'm ready to be done with this.

Re: Will have LAVH for Adenomyosis

I too noticed my feet swelling up last summer. I didn't notice it as much in winter but I had an ablation in November and didn't have a real period for a couple of months. NOW I don't have any but then again I don't have a uterus anymore. Back feels good too. Recovery is long. I started feeling good and wanted to do do much. Good luck on the 28th.
