tah day 2

Kind of crazy that it's only been 2 days in a way it feels like forever and in another way I'm pretty happy with how I feel on day 2.
Still pretty sore. Never got a good med schedule going until today and boy what a difference it makes. I past a large clot today and got freaked out. Nurse assured me it was normal and since then my bleeding has eased up quite a bit. I'm trying to walk around every hour or two and thats getting easier as well.

The food here sucks lol. Doesn't help the constipation problem, but baby steps I guess. They are feeding me stool softeners and I'm still waiting for those to help.

The gas is still atrocious, but even though it's not moving easily, when I get crampy a walk helps ease the pain.

I'm heading home tomorrow and looking forward to it.

Welcome to the other side also try lying on your back with knees bent and gently rock knees from side to side, it helps with gas. Wish you a speedy recovery, but remember to take it easy xx

I was given a suppositor on the 3rd day post-op and it really did help with moving the gas and made me feel a lot better.
