Thursday will soon be here

Not sure if I am ready yet. Haven't packed, but I figure not much to take anyway right. A bit nervous about going under anestesia, but will be glad that this daily pain will soon be gone. This site and board has been a god send to me, this is the first time I have posted but have been reading regularly...thank you all so much. I will try and post when I come home and let you know all the details. Thanks again!!!

You are right Thursday will be here before you know it and you will feel so much better. The waiting is pretty hard I know. The
anesthetic was ok for me, they gave me something to calm me and I fell asleep before I even got to the O R!!! I was in my room and had my Dh right beside me, wondering when I was having surgery. Things will be a little groggy the first day and if you have any nausea, ask for some meds for that and they'll fix you right up.
The hardest will be over on Thursday, and next you will just have to be patient with your recovery, letting everyone else do for you!

I want to send you good wishes for a smooth time at the castle. Yes, I agree, Hystersisters is a great place to learn and share your concerns about surgery. I'm glad that you found the site and that you posted. You will be so happy to have the surgery behind you and begin moving forward in recovery. The wait time is so difficult and it is such a relief to have that part overwith.
It all will be over soon and we will look forward to seeing you on the post-op side.

I just wanted to stop by and give you a big and to tell you that you'll be in my thoughts and prayers Thursday.

I was afraid of the anesthesia too, but it really wasn't scary at all. The A guy will usually give you something to make you relax, then before you know it, you'll be asleep. The next thing you'll be aware of is waking up in recovery.

The waiting is the hardest part of the whole ordeal. Just hang in there, you're almost on the other side!
