Step 1 ( D & C) done!

finally, step one is done! I did my D & C yesterday afternoon. I get the results on Friday. The D & C was uneventful. but afterwards was a doozy. When i woke up, the nurse asked how much pain i was in. i think i said "7" but now i don't knowif my pain was that bad or i heard a lady before my D &C say she was a 7. so they gave me the pain medication. next time, they came by i said i was queasy. they gave me anti nausea medicine. after a while, they tried to get me up but i was immediate light headed and nauseated. Since it was getting late 5ish, they moved me into a chair. Then they wanted me to pee, but i couldn't and sitting on the toilet made me feel sick, so of to the chair. this time, i ended throwing up. Just before 6, they pushed me to my friends car with a bucket in front of me. My poor friend, i ended up throwing up again. It was so nice to be home and i ended up in bed until 9. I was supposed to leave around 3:30. I hope the hysterectomy isn't going to be much worse. the nurses thought it might be a combo of the pain meds and the anesthisia. anyone else have a similar experience?

I ALWAYS get like that after surgery, even the D & E I had yrs ago. Everytime I have general anesthesia somewhere btw the anesthesia, and the pain meds im nauseated badly!
