Surgery tomorrow

Well, I have my bag packed for the hospital in the morning. I wanted to thank all the ladies who's advice I've read over the last few days. I have my stool softeners, my prune juice, and my down-filled tummy pillow. I've stocked my kitchen with soft, easy to digest, and easy to prepare foods for my return home on Wednesday. Hubby and kids have been coached on how much assistance I'm probably going to need when I return home.

I feel really peaceful about my decision based comments by you wonderful, supportive ladies. I know recovery isn't going to be easy, but I do know that I've made the right choice for me.

I will see you on the other side.

Kim

Re: Surgery tomorrow

Hi, Kim! Good luck! If you have to do the "bowel prep", just remember you only have to do it this one time. And it will be worth it, once the surgery is over.

Wishing you an uneventful, textbook perfect surgery and a quick, gentle, easy, comfortable, healthy recovery!

Re: Surgery tomorrow

Good luck to you. I hope all goes well. I found having elastic waist shorts and capris helpful these first two weeks. I usually don't wear them but with my incisions and larger belly they have been
more comfortable.
