Waiting and woundering
I am currently scheduled to have my TAH tomorrow 4/15 at 9:30 am. I went and pre-regestered at the hospital on friday and got my blood work done. I've been pertty anxious waiting for the day so as each day goes by I've been breathing a sigh of relief. I just want to get this over. This afternoon (It's sunday) I got a call from my doctor and it looks like there could be a problem with my blood work. Because it's Sunday he is having difficulty finding colleges to consult with. He told me that we may need to cancel my surgery. In the hopes that the reading is false I went straight to the hospital and had more blood drawn. I am now anxiously waitng for my doctor to call back and tell me if we are on or not. I feel like I'm at my witts end here. I cant' stand not knowing what is going to happen.
Any encouragement would be appreciated.
Rachel

Aw sweetie, I'm so sorry you're feeling anxious. I am glad that your Dr is on top of things though. I know from a friends surgery that had they not rechecked her bloodwork, there could have been lots of complications.
Please let us know what is happening when the Dr calls you back. Sending you many s and ers

It's a go!
Just got a call from the doctor and he confirmed that we are on for tomorrow. Yahoo! Now who would think I would be excited about this? It just goes to show you that God definately works in mysterious ways.
I am so relieved that I am going to the castle tomorrow and don't have to change my reservations. I've even gone out and bought pretty PJ's because, in my view, a princess has to dress like one. I'll be pretty in Pink!
Thanks for the support when I really needed it. I'll keep eveyone posted on my recovery.
Thanks again,
Rachel

Waiting and woundering
Soo happy for you! What a great doctor to get all this resolved on a weekend. I know how discouraging it can be to think you have done all this planning and waiting and that there is a chance you'll have to do it all again...there was a problem with my insurance company at the beginning of the week and all I kept thinking is that I cannot put this off...and already took 6 weeks off work with no pay and they already got the replacement...luckily if was an oversight and I will be headed to the castle on Tuesday...will be wearing PINK too! Best wishes for you for tomorrow, let us know how it goes!
