Wet NOT Dry--please help

Hi Ayers98,
This is odd- I had sort of the same thing. After surgery I noticed I was wetter than usual and figured it would pass. Well its been 11wks and the same. I was always dry before surgery, I attributed it to the fidroids and cysts, nothing needed just took me a while to get going. Now it's great. I don't however need a panty liner. It might be worth mentioning to your DR. I never mentioned it because I feel now I am probably normal ( funny how I never knew how bad I was until now). You are the 1st I heard this from and I always wondered why are my things always the opposite of everyone else. I am glad you wrote.

Best to you!

Wet NOT Dry--please help

Different people react differently after surgery. For instance, I still have my ovaries, and I can tell I ovulate and go through my cycle each month -- but for the first time in my life I'm suffering with some rather annoying dryness. Then I read here that it sometimes takes a while to restore a good blood supply to the pelvic area after surgery. This problem is relenting somewhat, so I'm hopeful that it will resolve in time.

Maybe what you're experiencing is the opposite -- perhaps your fibroids, etc. were constricting the blood supply and since the surgery your system no longer has to "work overtime" to produce the lubrication you need, so now you're producing too much. Just a thought.

If you are experiencing pain or you think you might have an infection, then I'd call the doctor. Otherwise, I would just probably wait and see how things go for a while.

I hope others who have experienced this will come forth, because it's entirely possible that I am lacking in knowledge on this point...

to you.
