Abdominal binder

Hi ladies! I had a TAH on 5/5/08. Has anyone had any experience using the abdominal binder? I have one but my tummy is so sore I am afraid to use it. Also, I am still having a lot of nausea, anyone else feel the same? Thank you!!!!!!

I came out of surgery with one and kept it on until I had my staples removed. It was wonderful to have that on. It really helps with the soreness.

I agree I loved my binder it does help with the pain. My first two surgeries ( c sections ) I didnt have one and when I had my third surgery I woke up with it on and I loved it. So my 4th and 5th surgeries I used one .

I love mine, I still use it when the swelling gets worse towards evening or when I will be standing or walking for a long time.

I used mine while sleeping and when out taking a ride with my husband. I am 3 weeks post op, had partial hyster, kept cervix and ovaries. I no longer wear the binder, but I do have it close buy just in case.
