Still Confused?

I'm a little confused Its says that the upper end of the uterus is connected to the Fallopian tubes. Once the uterus is removed what happens to the fallopian tubes??? I'm keeping my cervix and ovaries and just wondering once the uterus is removed where does everything attach? I hope make sense,Thanks Dawn

Re: Still Confused?

okay so I see that the tubes look like they connect to the uterus but once the uterus is totally gone then what happens? do they just sit there and the doctor doesn't attach them to anything?

Re: Still Confused?

The tube is still attached to the broad ligament like it always was, with the end simply disconnected from the uterus. The broad ligament is not removed. Does that help?
