It's linear streaking, whatever that means

Today my Gyn called with the results of my third abdominal CT scan. The infection is gone, the fluid has resolved but they found linear streaking. He says it results from the infection, scar tissue has formed and bunched up in linear streaks. I asked if it was adhesions and he emphatically said no. He said I would start to feel better when the scar tissue unbunched or broke up. The bad part is he has no idea how long that will take and there is nothing to be done for it except pain relievers like Tylenol or Motrin. So it isn't all in my mind and thankfully nothing serious but painful none the less.

Sounds like you have had some tough times. No, if there is pain, it is definitely not in your head.

I would take the pain relievers and rest. I hope you feel better in a short time.
