Acne related to hysterectomy?

HI!
I had my SLH on Feb. 2 and for the last 3 weeks or so I have had REALY bad acne on my face and neck! UG!! I had it pretty bad in my teens but Im 37. I have my overies and have heard of this from past posts. I have tried Neutrogina (spelled wrong) acne soap and clenser. Any suggestions??

I had it also for the first mth or so. I had never really had bad acne, just normal. I knew it was from surgery, don't really know why this surgery causes it either. Anyhow, I always just use dove on my face. I don't know what helped, I think time more than anything, but It's gone now. I guess hormones and levels just have to get back to somewhat normal.

That was one thing that hit me almost immediately. I got acne in my ears too! I have never had that before in my life..in both ears, in the outside crease. Hormone changes can definately cause changes in your face (dry or oily) I changed my face wash. I was using the same face wash for about 7 years and now I changed and it's cleared up. I am not sure if it's the face wash or my hormones are now steady. Wk 5 no new acne has started. I am 39

I would think it was hormonal. Maybe you need hrt to get things going for a lil while? Your body is going through big changes and your overies could still be skewing. Hugs and hope you get it sorted.
