increased discomfort and bleeding

I'm 12 days post op with increased discomfort and bleeding. The bleeding isn't a lot but is getting brighter red every day even with bed rest. I saw the doctor 9 days post op and he told me everything looked good, no reason for discomfort or bleeding and it should stop soon. But, has increased ( the pain is the same). Right after surgery I had very little bleeding and by the time I came home there was none. I don't understand this, am worried, and dread calling the doctor back to only be told there is nothing wrong again. It just doesn't feel right.

Re: increased discomfort and bleeding

Your doc needs to know that the bleeding isn't stopping and that the pain is still there. I know you dread calling him, but it sounds like you may have popped a stitch or something. Especially if this is happening on bed rest. He can tell you if you need to be seen. Sending good wishes and hugs. Hopefully something totally normal.
