I had full hysterectomy july 22 with repair of bladder prolapse. During surgery i got a fistula--hole in bladder. I just had surgery tuesday for that repair and now i feel like my wonderful self. Of course its another 6week recovery but im content with that. Thank you sisters for being "there" in my darkest hours. Thank you for your honesty. Transparency. Wisdom. Knowledge. Humor. Time. Prayers. I aint crazy yet...i dont see cats. Haha. xoxo

the CORRECT thing to say when you step on someones catheter tube is NOT "oops im sorry" rather "OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH IM SOOOO SORRY...IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN...I WILL BE YOUR SLAVE FOR LIFE!"

Please tell me that no one stepped on your catheter

Oh my goodness. That is horrible!!! Threats why you needed another surgery? Was it staff?

needed surgery to repair another hole. just had bladder scan and i still need to heal 1mm. so i still have the catheter. i found out all the raw, blistery stuff was not catheter irritation but a yeast infection. very hard to walk and move. i go monday to see if it has healed.
