6 Month Celebration!

Just had my 6 month post op check up yesterday. Everything looks great! Thank god I had insurance during my pre op and up to 1 month ago. I have a lapse in insurance for 3 months because i started a new job. So, I had to pay for this visit. MAN $800 for just a pap test and a 15 minute visit with the oncologist. Can't imagine what a 6-7 hour, davinci robotic surgery rang up.

My insurance is horrible, but I had my op done at the VA hospital, so it gets sent to the insurance and the balance is written off. So far, they've sent about $15,000 to the insurance. Wow! Mine was TAH, about 2 hour surgery.

[that is just ridiculous $800.00? you have got to be kidding?
