Hysterectomy: January 28th, 2013

Surgery Type: DvH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

So thankful for this site..It def helps me not feel so alone..so I bring to you all some questions..
I had my surgery Jan 28 all but one ovary went bye bye...I still have the feelings like I am having my period (cramps, headaches etc) on the right side but there is no ovary there..so MY question is..how long does your body take to adjust to diff hormones and the fact that it doesn't have what it used to...
I also wanted to know how common it is to have some pain after sex..If I tell my husband he worries too much so I am hoping someone has an answer. It is not BAD pain but def feels weird.
