Re: Feeling of Heaviness in the Vagina

What did you have done? I am also going to Pelvic Floor Phy Ther. I have been diagnosed with pelvic floor disorder/short pelvic. It is caused by surgery. I have been such a stress basket that I have basically tightened my whole body for weeks..........thus the pelvic floor pain and tightness. This can mimic some of the symptoms that I have........

*the feeling that something is falling out
*urinary urgency/frequency
*pain when urinating
*pelvic pain

I sound like a mess..........never had any health issues until this surgery it is very depressing

If you are nervous you could go to your surgeon, I know it might make you feel better. I am sure you are fine....maybe just healing still

Re: Feeling of Heaviness in the Vagina

You sound like you are on the right track. Good for you to be doing your exercises. I don't know your age but maybe the dryness could mean you need some vaginal Estrogen cream. If you kept your ovaries and they are still working.........then maybe you are ok.. I put a vaginal Estriol cream in 5 nights a week. My dr. perscribed premarin but there is breast cancer in the fam so I went the bioidentical route.
