srgery done like 3 weeks tomorrow felt amazing right from first week

Will be 3 weeks tomorrow, had a vaginal hysterectomy and bladder repair, it took surgeon 1 hr longer than antisipated, he said i had one big, heavy womb.
First couple of days were scary having probs since surgery with constipation....now think ive start of infection on high antibiotics feeling so amazing though.....really feel ive had a minor op....resting alot....have been doing things on and off....i was amazingly terrified leading up to it and on day off it...dont know what all the fuss was about.

My surgery, TAH, was also on 4/22 and I am feeling pretty good. I find that if I over do things, I suffer for it the next day with soreness. Despite how I feel, I'm trying really hard to take the advice to take it easy. We get one chance to heal right and I have to think of the long term outcome. Glad to hear you are doing so well

Hello. My surgery, LSH, was also done on the 22nd. I also had a bladder neck suspension and a cystocele and rectocele repair. I am back at work for the first day today and am feeling pretty good. My doctor told me that I would only be down for about 2 weeks and he was right. If it wasn't for a UTI that I developed, I probably would have been back to work on Monday. Things are getting better by the day.
