Consult with new Doctor

Well I called and got an appointment with the new Doctor for a consult on the hysterectomy on the 8th of July. I explained my situation to the nurse that I scheduled with and she got me in as soon as she could. I told her that my current doctor has suppose to have been scheduling this surgery for over 3 weeks now and that I have been disappointed in my treatment as a person and that I am being put off and treated with disrespect and discord and she seemed really sympathtic. I sure hope all goes well with this appointment and I will be joining you ladies as a princess soon. I feel a little guilty for doing this but I am just fed up totally and I am tired leaving messages for the other doctor which never get returned. Thank-you all for your support without you I would have never had the strength to do this I am so blessed to have found this website.

new doctor appt

Stacy,

Please do not feel guilty about seeing another doctor, you deserve to be treated with respect and concern. If your doctor does not have time for you now, what will happen to you if you have a problem after surgery?? I don't want to see you wait a week just for a call-back after surgery because you have a problem or a concern.

Please go with the doctor that will give you the time and attention that you deserve. If your doctor is over-booked or unorganized, then maybe your doctor needs a wake-up call that he is not taking proper care of his current patients!!

You deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, you are PAYING your doctor, he is not doing you a favor, this is not a personal friend thing, this is a business relationship.

Please keep your appt with the new doctor, if you like him, then please consider letting the new doctor handle your surgery. You deserve to be treated well, it is your right as a patient!!

Do this for you.

Hugs....Joan

Consult with new Doctor

There is no need for YOU to feel guilty. Your former doctor should, and I would recommend that you send him/her a note expressing why you are leaving the practice. No one should put up with this kind of treatment. Good luck!

((((((((Mornings)))))),

You gave your Dr. #1 plenty of chances to do right by you. Well he didn't. So move foward and don't look back.

Even this new nurse was nicer and she has not even met you yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this Dr. will be one you can see eye to eye with!!!!

Best wishes,

Pamcat
