pinkish discharge at 11 weeks postop

Hi
i havent posted for a couple of weeks as things seemed to be going ok in my recovery. I came back off my holiday on friday ( 2 weeks in spain ), did a lot of walking (im 11 weeks post op ) and everything went well on my holiday, no real tiredness, no aches or pains . Anyway today ive been getting menstrual type pains and a stabbing feeling in my tummy ( i had EVERYTHING removed at my op ) and ive started to loose some discharge but its pink in colour, ive never really had much bleeding during my recovery and i certainly wasnt expecting anything now at this stage of recovery as i felt pretty much back to normal. Do you think maybe its because of all the walking ive done or is it still normal to loose at this stage of recovery

I'm sorry you're experiencing this. It could be due to the extra activity whilst on holiday ~ full recovery takes anything from 3 months to a year.

You may like to check out this HS article <link> Post-Op Bleeding at 3 Months.

The best thing you can do is make an appointment to see your GP as soon as possible (assuming you've no other arrangements where the Gynae Consultant is concerned). If there is anything wrong, it needs to be nipped in the bud.

Will you let us know what happens? Take care!
