Hi there! Check the calendar and you can see who else is having surgery the same day as you! The calendar button is up on the purple strip near the top of this page. It's a really cool feature.

I'm scheduled for TAH tomorrow (03 May) so just one more sleep for me! See you on the other side, and best of luck for a wonderful recovery!!!

I had my TAH in Sept. and all went smooth. I asked the doctor for a binder after surgery, that is about 10 inches wide and goes around your waist...........I think that helped in my being able to move better. I started my hormone patch (Climara) a week before the surgery. My docotr had me on a hypo shot for pain the first 24 hours, then pills that I couldn't keep down, then the amazing patch. It was a 72 hour pain patch that worked wonderfully. I only had to have one more of those. I was in the hospital from Thurs A.M. and went home Sun. p.m. I had the entire mess of stuff down there all but cancer. And by the time it was time for the surgery I was so happy to get it over with I really wasn't to scared. I had had a terrible year prior. I hope all goes well for you on May 5th. I am not a person to tell someone not to worry I could only share my experience. God Bless. Past
