Finally hit me!

Today is 10 days til my TAH w/bladder repair. I had been doing great, keeping very busy. I went to lunch with BF and her 6 year old son. And it was like all of the sudden everywhere I looked there were babies. BF's son would start laughing and it felt like someone was ripping my heart out. Oh, sorry should have said at first I unfortunatly have no children, I have had 5 misscarriages and one I lost at 29 weeks, she lived for 5 days. And I guess what really got me today is I realized that my due date for her was July 22, 1991 she would have been 16 years old 3 days after my surgery. I always kept a little bit of hope, dream that I would be able to have a child, but know it is like the last little hope that was there really is gone. Sorry, such a cry baby today. I guess I just need to stay a little more concentrated on cleaning or something anyting to keep my mind busy and not thinking. Hope everyones day is going a little better. Thanks feel like yall are the only ones that really understand.

Lori, I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a difficult time . Also sorry to hear about your losses. It sounds like you've been through a lot and still have surgery to deal with. I just wanted to tell you, you're in my thoughts and prayers!

You are not a cry baby!! I know your story, I couldn't have children, and at times it feels like a cruel world to those of us in that situation. I am so sorry for the loss of your little angel. We tried all kinds of things and I could never conceive. Now the age I am, I'm just trying to be realistic and want to feel better. I am pulling for you, just try to hang in there. Sometimes you just need to hug someone! I know how you are hurting.

Its been hitting me every now & then. I do not have children, but I know that this does not mean I can not be a mother. Its been an emotional roller coaster for me as well.

Its just so hard to put into words, cause all around there is babies............I wish i was there to give you a great big
