Why is CNN talking about my hysterectomy?
Everytime I turn on the TV, someone is talking about how there are 28 days until November 4th. Why is the world so interested in my hysterectomy on November 4th? Is there anything else happening of any importance on that day?
I don't think I like the constant reminders. Someone tell Anderson Cooper to shut up about it, thank you very much.

Well, yeah, I guess so; I hadn't thought of it that way. I hope the surgeons will keep me lookin' good for my post op photo ops and news conferences. Still, I don't know if I want Wolf Blitzer talking about my lady bits.

Great to see you still have your sense of humour EnglishLavender! I can see you up there on the big silver screen post op saying "I want to thank my Dr's and Nurses for all their wonderful work" wearing your beautiful hospital gown.
Anyway, I think your surgery is much more important than any old election, after all they happen so often and yours is a once off so far more newsworthy!

Rolling on the floor laughing! Thank you so much. That is a good one. But on a serious note, voting is important too. I know you will have lots to do and worry about that day, but if at all possible try to make your voice heard! Maybe they have some kind of absentee voting thing you can do?

You know, Lavender, some states won't even serve alcohol on "English Lavender Hysterectomy Day". I guess that they want to make sure that everyone is sober as they contemplate the seriousness of your surgery!
