Good morning everyone,
It's 5 weeks going on 6 this week I feel great still a little swelling were the incision is mostly on the side I feel lump I ask the doctor he advise me I'm still healing that its normal. I also wanted to know I still have my ovaries everything else is gone. Will I still get symptoms as if my monthly was coming on. Because I usually get headaches and this weekend nothing I took would ease it up. Finally went away.

if you kept your ovaries, you will still ovulate every month and could still have all the monthly symptoms you had before surgery.

Yep! I've got one ovary, and 18 months later, I still deal with PMS and the symptoms every month.

I am in a weird place with this. I have ovaries but I was peri menopausal before surgery and my hormones were changing. Now they are all freaked out and I am pretty sure they are in early retirement for the time being. I am on they east coast and this heat is unbearable as I am only 3 weeks post op. Ice cubes are my best friend
