Skechers Shape-Ups

Englishbird - Thanks for suggesting the fitflops. Wow - they are so comfortable.

Who knew!!!! my feet have just got so flat and wide since moving to NC and living in normal flipflops, I was getting 'hobbit' feet ,already my arches are getting back into shape and the shape of molding on mine hold my toes in place pretty well. Glad you love them as its awful if you recommend something and people spend money only to find its not something they like.

I have the Sketchers shape ups. I have been wearing them, and haven't had any issues with wearing them after my surgery. I don't wear them often though, because we don't wear shoes in the house. I wear them when we go some where.

I had the MBT shape shoes before surgery, and have to admit that they helped immensely after the surgery as well. They kept everything aligned (back, hips, spine, etc), therefore making it very easy for me to concentrate on how my abdominal area felt.

I just picked up a pair of Avia "Avi-motion" shoes that are very similar to Sketchers and MBT. I love them. I wear them on my walks, both on treadmill and outside. I also have the Sketchers "tone up" flip flops...they are really comfy and help keep my back and feet from getting sore when I'm out doing errands. I think every little bit helps!!
