Upcoming hysterectomy 10/7: Retro flexed uterus/intestines

Has anyone else had a SEVERELY retro flexed uterus that is causing intestinal issues?

I can feel a "pouch" type mass after intercourse or eating that doesn't show up in colonoscopy or any other imaging except X-ray that shows bowel "stuck". It isn't a blockage because it comes out eventually.

My dr says my uterus is stuck way back onto the colon.
I'm bloated all the time and can't eat or drink much at a time without discomfort.
I'm very hopeful this will be corrected after hysterectomy.
Has anyone had something similar?

Surgery is Wednesday!

Hi Light and love -

I hope your surgery fixes your problem. At least you will not have your uterus stuck to your colon anymore.

Good luck with your surgery. We will be waiting for you on the other side.
