Soreness! Why?

It's been 10 months since I've had my hysterectomy (I kept my ovaries). I've been feeling fine, until last week. I'm having a soreness in my vagina area that is very irritating. I thought maybe it was a yeast infection. I had to go to my doctor for a blood pressure check and I mentioned this to her. She gave me prescription for "Macrobid". I've been taking it for 4 days, no changes. I called today and she called me in "fluconazol", to take (1 pill). I still feel the same. I'm getting scared....she said that if it didn't work to come in for a pap. Any one out their experience any of these symptoms? She checked my urine and it was fine.

Soreness! Why?

Um, you think? When I went for my 6 week check up months ago, the doctor said I healed up fine. I didn't think about that. I believe I'm going to make an appointment for sometime next week....it has me so worried, because otherwise I've been fine.

Soreness! Why?

Hey, your hyst date is the same as mine! I guess I'm not clear on what you mean by soreness. I was told that the vagina can become irritated more easily now that we are lacking cervical mucous. I sometimes experience an inner soreness, that feels like a bruise. I just chalk this up to continued healing. Would you mind clarifying soreness? Feel free to PM me if you feel it's TMI. I would like to help, if I can.

Soreness! Why?

Upon rereading your post, I think I get it. I'm a little dense sometimes-Sorry. Do you think that the flora and fauna could have changed? I would think that the antibiotics might throw them even more out of balance, hence them not helping the situation. Could you have developed an allergy to any product that you use? I hope you get an answer.
