one week post op

Hi everyone, new to posting here. doing good after one week. Had total hysterectomy on 5/9 via da vinci. As hospital experiences go, had a wonderful network of care givers that made my experience and stay comfortable. Have to keep reminding myself to sit down and rest.

Re: one week post op

I too am 1 week post op. I had a partial via divinci with bladder sling. I am finding myself mentally ready for stuff however my body reminds me that I am in recovery. What are you doing to cure boredom? It's only week 1 and I am off til July 1st, lol.

Redz, that's great with one less scar. Today was definitely a day of rest for me, didn't sleep to well last night. Happy healing ladies.

Re: one week post op

Hello ladies,
I am also one week post LAVH. Not too much pain - only lots of pain in recovery and those annoying air booties in the hospital. Only took Motrin at home for the first few days. My first big outing was on day three to Starbucks and since then short trips out. Im doing okay but I get tired easily. No real pain except fullness in the belly and a little nausea. I fight the boredom by working on quilts and hand stitching. Not going back to work until July 8th....
