HI Ladies
Looking for some suggestions here...not to be indelicate here but my new boyfriend is well endowed--"healthier" than others i've been with since my surgery 3-years ago--

I feel like I am just being pounded and ripped up at the top of my surgical cuff and I have read your posts on the lubricant which I will go get today. I also bled a lot for about 24hours after our first "go round" this weekend.

Any suggestions would be appreciated--
Carol

I would defintly get lube! It may take a while for your body to get use to his size. My DH is the same way, weve been married 18 yrs and after this surgery my body has to get use to him again.. ...and thats gonna take practice .....

Good Luck

Lots of foreplay, lube, and tell him to please relax a little - if you're bleeding after a pounding (that just sounds funny lol), then it's a bit too rough overall. Your body has limits.

Thanks ladies-- yes, he called this morning to check on me and I told him we need to make a trip to pickup some "supplies." He felt bad, but I told him hey it is just my new reality and we just need to find ways to work around it....
Thanks for the support-- you would think after 3yrs you don't have to deal anymore, but I guess this is just one of those things that kinda is with you now for the long haul!

Best,
Carol

Hi Carol!

It's not normal to bleed after intercourse this far post-op so it would be a good idea to get that checked out with your doctor. Are you using anything for hormone therapy? Sometimes after surgery the vaginal tissues can become dry and more susceptible to tearing. In cases like that, a vaginal estrogen can work wonders. Here's a link to more information about vaginal dryness: Vaginal Dryness.

Let us know what the doctor says, okay?

HI
The bleeding only lasted about 12 hrs...I did really feel like the top was just getting pounded and it WAS really dry and sore, so could have been bleeding from the tearing.

I am going to go get "lube" and try again next w/e and if it happens again i'll go to the Dr. (promise)

As for meds:
I am not on anything other than Thyroid med (Armour)

I tried herbal and then did bio-identical and never felt well at all on the hormones.... tried a lot of diff combinations...and was gaining a lot of weight and felt AWFUL.

So I went off all the hormones and started working with a diff Dr. I really feel GREAT since I went off all the hormones and started on the thyroid meds -- well-- other than this new development!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't tell you how I appreciate you all always being here--you are an invaluable support system!
Love
Carol
